Last year Learning Fun 101: LEGO Robotics, Forensic Science, Sewing, and DumFun will bring you a full week of ESTEAM camps!
Budding engineers’ entering grades K & 1st are given age appropriate LEGO lessons and games, and LEGO sets with plenty of instructors to help with building. We focus on creating a fun, friendly and caring environment for our youngest LEGO builders! They will be challenged with the LEGO WeDo robotic program where they will build and program their own robotic creations!
For advancing robot engineers’ entering 2nd & 3rd grade, lessons that incorporate technology concepts, engineering principles, physics and imagination. Student will build robots, simple machines, LEGO creations and learn about science concepts all while having fun. They will be challenged with the LEGO Mindstorms RCX and or NXT robotic program where they will build and program their own robotic creations!
Our extreme builders & engineers entering 4th to 7th grade will learn about structure and design by building with our LEGO building sets. They will be challenged with the LEGO Mindstorms NXT robotic programing and will build their own robotic creations and have the opportunity to challenge their knowledge with mini competitions & challenges throughout the week!
Tony has developed DrumFun interactive drum camp to give campers a taste of the world of percussion! Each camper with learn basic hand coordination, how to read and play rhythms on a drum, playing percussion instruments from around the world, and much more
Tony Miller began playing the drums at the age of 4. He played his first professional gig at 10 and by the age of 13 was playing every weekend around the Dallas Texas music scene. Tony attended the University of North Texas of a music scholarship and participated in the jazz program. Tony has toured with Grammy nominated Christian music artists Mylon Lefevre, Wayne Watson, Cindy Morgan, and Point of Grace, and has been a requested drummer in the Dallas, Nashville, and Austin recording studios. Tony currently plays with renown guitarist Monte Montgomery and is a staff drummer at Grace Covenant church. As a drum teacher, Tony is a proud member of the Professional Drum Teachers Guild of America and the Percussive Arts Society.

Campers will solve crimes by utilizing various techniques such as blood typing, forensic anthropology, fingerprint analysis, impression analysis for tires and shoes, hair analysis, blood spatter and more. Synthetic blood is used in all experiments.
Have you ever wanted your child to experience the joy of the theatre but hesitated exposing them to a non-Christian atmosphere? CCT offers high quality acting classes within the context of Christianity. These are acting classes for children ages 6 through 18, divided by age group. They focus on core acting skills with the goal of a finished product in performance through improvisation, monologues, scene study and play production. The classes are high energy and fun is a requirement! Instruction flows at the students’ pace and the teaching style encourages the love of learning.

Campers will bring home a portfolio of their sketches and their own sewn project. Due to the nature of this camp, campers will be expected to purchase their own fabric, elastic & thread after Day 1 and bring to camp in order to complete their project. Instructions will be sent home on Day 1 on how to pick the correct fabric for the skirt or shorts.
